5-axis CNC machines use a machine tool that is able to move in five different directions at the same time. Using a 5-axis machine allows us to approach a part from all sides apart from the bottom in a single operation thereby eliminating the need to manually reposition the workpiece between operations. This results in far greater precision and accuracy, faster production speeds, fewer manual setups and the ability to produce complex geometries with better surface finishes.
